The Crew
Lydia
Drawn to the ocean from an early age, my life has been shaped by wind, water, and time at sea. With Maui as my home base, I’ve spent over 15 years working as a licensed 100-ton captain and the past seven years living aboard sailboats and voyaging across the South Pacific.
Those years at sea have shaped my approach to sailing. Rooted in patience, respect, and a belief in experiencing the ocean slowly and directly.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: people protect what they love—and love grows through direct experience.
My role aboard is to create a safe, grounded, and welcoming space for meaningful connection, adventure, and life at sea.
Owen
The ocean has been a guiding force in my life from the very beginning. I discovered my passion for sailing early on and was fortunate enough to achieve a national championship at 18.
That experience set the course for my career in sailing instruction, teaching, and marine electrical engineering. For the past five years, I've had the joy of exploring the Caribbean and South Pacific.
When I'm not sailing, I love to spend my time surfing, free diving, and spearfishing. For me, the ocean is truly a lifelong adventure and a playground for the soul.
